HOW IT WORKS
Plasma technology takes advantage of the fine layer of ionized gas, or plasma, that exists along the surface of your skin. Plasma devices emit energy that instantly sublimates a precise spot on the skin. A sealed wound is created and heat is delivered below the skin to kickstart fibroblast activity, which stimulates collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The tip of the plasma device never actually touches the skin.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Because the plasma device creates an instant wound on the skin, small scabs form that can take 5-10 days to fall off. The scabs are a natural and protective barrier to the magic taking place below. Because the treatment area is immediately sealed, there is minimal risk of side effects. As the area heals, the skin may feel tight and itchy. Once the scabs fall off, the skin beneath may look pink. This is renewed skin and any redness should progressively fade.

Subnovii works best on light to medium skin color, mature skin with mild to moderate rhytides and fine lines.
Not good for people who have a history of keloid scarring, have an active infection, darker skin types, those prone to hyperpigmentation or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Moderate discomfort can be expected, swelling, redness and scabbing can occur for up to 7 days. You will numb for 30-60 min before the procedure. The device does not touch the skin, but thermal reaction will stimulate fibroblast activity (helping cell regeneration and collagen production).

Results can be seen as early as 4 weeks, but best results are seen at 12 weeks with max results at 6 months. Results are considered permanent, although we do continue to age.

Thorough instructions will be given, along with a specific aftercare kit. You will want to avoid water and excess sweating for 24 hours post procedure. Avoid direct sunlight as this can cause pigmentation issues and scarring.
